Produced by Three Sun Films, Malyan has Karan and Kanchivaram fame Shammu in the lead. Directed by Gopi, a former assistant of S.A Chandrasekhar, the film has the fireworks factories of Sivakasi as the backdrop.Malayan movie is based on novel theme. The story about a brave hearted village young man who fights against the baddies of a factory in which he is working.The Core" had a pretty good image (for a VCD) but the camcorder was locked down on the center of the screen, losing both edges entirely, and the sound was so bad that we literally couldn't make out what anyone was saying - not a problem if you can read the Malayan and Chinese subtitles, but a washout for those of us who
