He movie Modhi Vilayadu starring Vinay and Kajal Agarwal is being shot in Kuala Lumpur and Chennai at a fast pace. A racy chasing scene was also shot in the busy streets of Pudhucherry choreographed by veteran stunt master Thyagarajan.
‘Modhi Vilayadu’ directed by Charan, features hero Vinay in a role of an action hero. It is said that he actor would dub in his own voice for this movie. Colonial Cousins (Hariharan and Leslie Lewis) musical duo is scoring music for the Tamil film titled Modhi Vilayadu
The mediocre show of Vattaram has not dampened the spirits of director Charan. He is gearing up to complete his Modhi Vilayadu, a film which has Vinay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles.
Interestingly, the movie has a musical score by Colonial Cousins- fame Hariharan and Leslie, unlike the earlier ventures of Saran, which had Bharadwaj as the music director.
Says Charan, Shot in Kuala Lumpur, Finland and Dubai, Modhi Vilayadu is an action-packed entertainer. It is a struggle by a youth to regain his identity and establish a place for himself in society.
Kalabhavan Mani, Aalayam Shriram, Santhanam, Mayilsamy and Amith Dhavan form part of the cast. The other credits are S Ramakrishnan (dialogues), Karun (cinematography), Vairamuthu (lyrics) and Thyagarajan (stunts).
