A Tamil film titled 'Nanda' starring Surya and Laila is being dubbed in Telugu as 'Pratheekaram' by M Sudhakar under Maha Ganapathi Pictures banner. The movie is directed by Bala (director of Siva Putrudu, Premisthe, etc). The dubbing has been completed the 1st copy is also ready for release. Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and was recently released at Prasad Preview Theater. B Gopal released the CDs and presented the first CD to director Samudra. Producer Sudhakar informed that they have completed all the formalities and is planning to release the film on July 31st. He said, "This movie is dedicated to my guru VSR Swamy, the renowned cinematographer. Bala's direction and Surya's performance are remarkable."
Pratheekaram is a dubbed version of tamil movie Nandha in which, Surya is Playing a role of a young guy who came from juvenile jail coming back to a society and rest of the story is about how he lead his life in that society.
