The beginning of the auspicious Shravana Masa has given signal for films to launch. On Thursday morning at Nanditeertha Temple in Malleswaram a senior associate and assistant director Madhav's independent directorial venture 'Venki' starring Prashanth of 'Orata I Love you' and 'Dhuniya' fame heroine Rashmi was clapped by power star Puneeth Rajakumar that was okayed by esteemed director of Kannada cinema H.R.Bhargava.
Madhav has written the screenplay and dialogues for the story of co producer Lakshmikumar. Suryakanth Jadhav of Belgaum is the producer investing Rs.2 crores on the project.
According to the director of 'Venki' in life there is no age limit for love. The human body looks aged but love is always refreshing. A village guy in city completing engineering graduation faces hurdle after he meets his 'Pyaari Ladki'. How he bounces back and gets his lover is the crux of this film.
Neel is scoring music for the five songs in the film. Neela has done music for films like Right Adhre, Neeli Banali, Tabbali Kannada films
