'PANKH ' HINDI The Story :
Pankh movie is the story of the repercussions that have happened to a boy - a child artist who once played girl roles in films as Baby Kusum - once he becomes an adult and wants to be launched as a hero. Baby Kusum is a child star, a cute little girl.
In reality, Baby Kusum is boy, masquerading as a girl. He was christened Jerry, and then named Master Jai for the movies. He and his mother Mary (Lilette) share a turbulent relationship. The boy’s family is poor and they want to make it big. The pressure of parents and ridicule make it a very sad situation for him. He becomes a drug-abuser who has never been to school and spends all his time at home.
Eventually he creates an imaginary character he is in love with, & that imaginary character happens to be Bipasha who taunts him and fights with him, an alter ego who questions his every move. Jerry is made to face the camera again as a young man, which leads to the final catastrophe. The film highlights the common practice in the Indian film industry of casting children in role contrary to their natural genders, there screen.

'PANKH ' HINDI MOVIE Review
Latest Hindi Film, which is most controversial for showing nude scenes, is set to release on 2nd April 2010. Pankh is the movie based on the story of Baby Kusum, who is the popular Female Star of Media. But, Baby Kusum isn’t a female. He is a male and his mother (played by Lilette Dubey) presented him from his childhood as girl child actress.
When Baby Kusum grew up and trying to do what he is; then comes the twist, which you should watch. Bipasha Basu has done an excellent performance in the film Pankh and Bupasha Basu will be seen in 9-Different Looks and Style.
In the Film Pankh, there are some Bold, Sexy and Nude Scenes done by the Actor Maradona. As per the Script and necessity Maradona shoot a naked scene and few Bold Kisses.
In less than a month's time from now, a film that has been highly spoken about and eagerly awaited will hit the screens. Titled PANKH, the film stars Bipasha Basu in the lead.
Actually PANKH is produced by Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Entertainment and is directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyay. The story of the film is an unseen phenomenon on the Indian screens. The plot of the film revolves around ego's and alter ego's of its lead characters.
So, does this film categorize as mainstream Bollywood. The director of PANKH has this to answer, "I think PANKH is mainly an urban film. The theme that we have touched in this film identifies more with the sensibilities of the urban dwellers. May be in a few rural areas the film might be appealing. But, I have always maintained that this film touches upon a subject that is way different that you see in usual mainstream films."
PANKH is also making news for the different looks that has been given to Bipasaha Basu in the film. Buzz is that Bips has got as many as nine different looks in the film.
The film also assumes significance since it is one of the most awaited films from Sanjay Gupta's stable after his last production ACID FACTORY.
