Lee Smith is set for a dramatic return to rugby league in Thursday evening's West Yorkshire derby at Headingley Carnegie.
Smith rejoined the Leeds Rhinos on Wednesday after an ill-fated attempt to switch codes with Guinness Premiership team Wasps. The 23-year-old, who scored two tries on his last appearance for the Rhinos in the 2009 Grand Final victory, has signed a four-year contract.
The England international centre is expected to slot straight back into the old routine, having been parachuted in to the squad for the visit of Bradford Bulls.
Rhinos head coach Brian McClennan also has Brett Delaney, Kylie Leuluai and Kevin Sinfield back in contention.
The trio sat out the 24-4 defeat against Wigan at the DW Stadium last week through injury.
It will be Sinfield's first outing since he suffered a dead leg against Melbourne in the Gillette World Club Challenge.
Bailey available
Ryan Bailey is included after being handed just a £300 final by an RFL disciplinary panel, who found him guilty of a 'chicken wing' tackle on Wigan prop Stuart Fielden last weekend. However, Scott Donald (shoulder), Jamie Peacock (foot), Greg Eastwood (wrist) and Carl Ablett (ankle) remain sidelined.
Bradford coach Steve McNamara has named the same 19-man squad from last weekend, when the Bulls beat Quins 19-12.
The 17 on duty on Friday are re-joined by Dave Halley and Mike Worrincy.
The Bulls are hoping skipper Andy Lynch can shake off an ankle injury in time to lead his side.
Leeds squad: Webb, Delaney, Senior, Hall, McGuire, Burrow, Leuluai, Buderus, Jones Buchanan, Lauitiiti, Sinfield, Diskin, Bailey, Kirke, Burgess, Pitts, Ambler, Bush, Clarkson, Smith
Bradford squad: Reardon, Halley, L'Estrange, Hall, Scruton, Sheriffe, Sykes, Langley, Kopczak, Donaldson, Menzies, Kearney, Godwin, Nero, Lynch, Platt, Whitehead, Worrincy, Orford..
