In recent years due to the over-whelming response and popularity that wrestiling gained in the minds of the youngsters WWE Champ "The Great Khali" has become a household name. He hails from Himachel Pradesh whose real name is Dilip Singh Rana. He`s been in the news recently as he will be doing his debut in the Hindi Movie "Khusti" which will be releasing on 14 May. This movie is made under the banner of "Venus Films" and is directed by Rajeev Kumar. The audience will also get to see the best of the comedians all together in one film. Veteran Comedy Actor_Asrani is also in the movie along with Om Puri, Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi etc.
The main leads of the movie are Actor Rajpal Yadav and actress Nargis. Film "Khusti" is the story of a small village in Northern India where wrestling is a popular sport and an important wrestling match is held every year. Avtar Singh (Sharat Saxena) has a young and a beautiful daughter named Laadli(Nargis), with whom Chander (Rajpal Yadav) is madly in love. To get her father`s approval for their marriage he was to first prove his prowess by wrestling with the 7 and half feet tall, "The Great Khali". The condition set by Avtar Singh is-Chander has to defeat "Khali" in the wrestling match!!
Will an ordinary postmal like Chander be able to defeat "The Great Khali" to win his love back?
Or will "Khali" make minced meat of "Chander" in the ultimate wrestling match. This premise will be determined only in the climax of the movie. "The Great Khali" will be seen as playing himself in the movie "Kushti" releasing on 14th May
