Life takes a turn for both of them on a vacation in Goa, when Kavita meets Arpan, an investment banker turned environmentalist.
Inspired by his mission to save the endangered Olive Ridley Turtle, she finally finds clarity in her life. However, Kavita's mission to save the Olive Ridley is not an easy one. Will she emerge a winner? Who will she become? Hello Zindagi is the story of one young woman's journey towards self-realization.

Hello Zindagi Bollywood film Review :

Lately, good films have spoilt the audiences. All they want is one good film after another. In such a scenario, Hello Zindagi however breaks this trend. The film will make you want to curse yourself for going to the theatre and the director for making it. Hello Zindagi highlights parenting issues in the current generation and it talks about saving the Olive Ridley turtles in the second half. It takes more than an hour for the director to explain what Kavita (Mrunmayee Lagoo) is up to.
Fresh out of college, Kavita is confused about her way forward. The one thing she hates the most is her forever nagging mother, Indra (Neena Gupta) who wants her to do those idealistic things a daughter should do like wearing traditional clothes, learning to cook and so on.
Girish (Kanwaljit Singh) is always supportive of her daughter Kavita, irrespective of what she does, and motivates her to follow her dreams. In fact, Kavita admits that she is incomplete without her father and considers him as her best friend until one day an accident changes the course of her life.



The director juggles between two stories, Kavita's journey towards self realisation and the issue to save the Olive Ridley Turtles. You'll soon find out why.
Kavita meets Dr Sadhana (Kitu Gidwani) a doctor, who not only understands her but also acts as her guardian and guides her through troubled waters. She takes her for a trip to Goa and that's when the real crux ofthe film is revealed. Why she helps her? Is it because she was a student of Kavita's mother and was only doing her a favour or she had an ulterior motive is for you to find out.
The background score is very ordinary and in the defining moments of the film, it fails to produce any impact. What covers up the bad music are the spontaneous and clean performances by Mrunmayee Lagoo and Kitu Gidwani, who are seen throughoutthe film.
Films with 'Hinglish' conversation often fails to add colour to the characters. Their accents seem jarring to the ears. Wish the dialogues were better.

During Kavita's stay in Goa, she meets Arpan (Milind Gunaji), who has given up a luxurious life abroad and turns an environmentalist to protect the eggs of turtles. The trip to Goa however turns out to be a life-altering one for Kavita as she decides to help Arpan in his mission.

T Series' Kajraare to star Pak actress Monalaizza
Mumbai: T Series' Kajraare, produced by music moghul Bhushan Kumar, and directed by Pooja Bhatt, seems to have finally found its heroine, after an intense search for Pakistani actresses who suited the role.

T Series creative director Divya Khosla (OR KUMAR??) and director Pooja Bhatt have finally zeroed in upon Monalaizza, the popular Pak actress, who is considered the Smriti Irani of Pak television to play the role opposite Himesh Reshamiyya.




Says Kumar, "Monalaizza's character is very intense and spans a lot of emotions. We had to look for an actress who would be Pakistani and yet had the persona to essay a character who remains herself though there is a lot in store for her in that journey that is called life through Kajraare..."
Bhatt, who is directing her first maiden film outside her own production with T Series avers, "Kajraare is an out-and-out commercial film, but one with a heart." She is happy that Monalaizza will be the girl opposite Himesh. "It was Javed Shaikh who helped us find Monalaizza. And she suits the character very well. We checked out over 70 actresses before we finalized her."



Monalaizza is pretty excited about the role. "It is a beautiful character and the emotions that I have to essay are immense. I feel privileged to be selected by Divya Kumar and Pooja Bhatt for this character," she echoes.

month-and-a-half before his film Hum Tum Aur Ghost releases, Arshad Warsi has taken a mannat - he will not drink and eat meat till the time his film releases.
Arshad, who is known to be a hardcore meateater, has taken this oath to see how much self control he has.
Warsi, the new teetotaler, says, “It is just something that I have promised myself. It is not a religious mannat, but it is self-imposed. God has been very kind to me, so I want to see if I can make these little sacrifices. I am a hardcore meateater and I know it will be difficult to survive as I eat it every day. However, I am determined to forsake that for my production.”
Warsi is not an actor who is vigilant about self-control. He adds, “I am a party animal and I believe in living life to the fullest. However, just two months before my shoot starts, I start working out and getting back in shape. Thankfully I lose weight easily and it always works for me. So, for me not partying is rare.”
The question then arises is whether the audience can look forward to a memorable act by Arshad Warsi in his own home production, HUM TUM AUR GHOST. The film (previously titled KAUN BOLA?) is a love story and at the same time a romantic comedy, starring Dia Mirza, Boman Irani and Sandhya Mridul. It's being directed by Kabeer Kaushik of SEHAR fame which too had Arshad Warsi in the lead role.
As may be recalled, the critically acclaimed SEHAR helped establish Arshad Warsi as one of the better actors in Bollywood. The benevolent Arshad, rather than speaking about his own role or character in the film, is all praise for his MUNNABHAI co-star Boman Irani, who he says has done a fantastic job in the film and is confident that Boman's character will definitely appeal to all.
Well, the success of ISHQIYA does auger well for Arshad's first home production, HUM TUM AUR GHOST, which is set for a March 26th release.

Today, there is hardly anyone who hasn't visited the swanky shopping malls, nightclubs, lounge bars, clubs and other such lifestyle destinations that sprung up across the centre of Mumbai.
However, very few know that buried deep below these glittering edifices to consumerism lies the dark, dirty and painful reality of many thousands of mill workers who once worked the cotton mills in this very same area. Rising and toiling to the wail of the mill sirens each and every day, seven days a week, these workers embodied the true unbridled zeal and unflagging spirit of the city and played a pivotal role in the evolution of Mumbai as the modern day business capital of India.
And then it suddenly was as if they never existed. Following the mill workers strike in the mid 80s, these mills began closing down rapidly and the mill workers mysteriously disappeared. What happened to them, and where they went is one of the most shameful secrets that the city of Mumbai will have to bear for generations, one that until now has always been spoken about in hushed whispers.
City of Gold the story of these long forgotten masses not only explores the apathy of these mill workers narrated through the story of one such family, but is also a take no prisoners account of the birth of the true underbelly of organized crime in Mumbai.
The film traces the birth of the politics of greed in Mumbai and exposes the unholy collusion between the triumvirate of big business, the political establishment and the trade union leaders who ostensibly were charged with protecting the rights of the mill workers. In the two decades that followed, the entire landscape of Central Mumbai was changed forever. Land became the currency of growth, and this began the systematic extinction of mills in Mumbai. In a matter of just a few years, hundreds of thousands of workers lost their means of livelihood. Having worked in these mills from generation to generation, this was the only vocation that they knew.
Many left Mumbai and went back to their ancestral homes, some others chose to stay back and fight what they soon realised was a losing battle, some took the extreme step of ending their miserable lives, and still some others took to a world of crime.
Truth... as is said, is stranger than fiction. But the truth that the film uncovers is not just stranger but darker and dirtier than any mind has ever imagined. City Of Gold Movie News:
Mumbai, Feb 17 (IANS) Mahesh Manjrekar, who returns to direction with the "City Of Gold", says a film cannot be made without money therefore its box office performance is vital for its maker.
Box-office satisfaction always comes first. If I do three films for creative satisfaction and my producer bears loss then no producer will ever stand by me," Manjrekar told reporters Wednesday after the first look of "City of Gold" was unveiled.
Films cannot be made without money. I tried making films without money, but it's impossible. You can even make a film without camera, but not without money. So commercial success of the film is very important," he added.
The actor-director, whose last film was "Deha", says he quit direction because he was unable to understand the grammar of song and dance movies.
Four years ago, the kind of films people wanted me to do, I was incapable of making such films. I lack the intelligence to do song and dance films. So I took a break and ventured into acting," Manjrekar said.
He feels that over the years the taste of viewers has changed and they are now open to different kind of cinema.
Actually, the time has come when people are open to a different kind of cinema. Ten years back, it was beyond anyone's imagination to make a film like 'A Wednesday' or 'Taare Zameen Par' and get a producer for them," he said.
But I was writing films with a hope that time will come when people will accept my type of film. I also tried learning the skills of copying directly from an English film, but was unable to grab the technique of it," added the director who won critical acclaim for Amitabh Bachchan starrer "Virrudh".

Music Review:
The soundtrack of Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?, which stars Ajay Devgn and Konkana Sen Sharma, sounds more like a devotional album with three of the five songs being in praise of the almighty.
The album contains five originals and one remix. Aaja aaja crooned by Raghubir Yadav, Ajay Jhingran and Rajneesh, is an amalgamation of folk influences with western orchestration. The fast-paced number is more of a situational track than something that can be hummed.
The song also has a re-mixed version, which offers nothing great and is average. Next is the title track of the film, where Amit Mishra steps in as composer and singer. This is the song currently doing the rounds of various TV channels. Trying to be funny with its lyrics and the way the vocals are presented, the song is a one-time hear. It's an ordinary number with no retention value.
Up next is Dohay. Sung by Amit Mishra again, it is a soft version of poems and couplets written by well-known poets. Then there is Jyoti jalaile, a devotional version of the hit item song Beedi jalaile from the film Omkara. This version too is sung by Sukhwinder Singh. The song is sung in praise of goddess Durga.
Finally, we have another religious offering in the guise of Sukh Karta, an offering to Lord Ganesh. This one too has Amit Mishra behind the mike.
On the whole, there is nothing much for music buffs in the album. The soundtrack is situational and will not boast of any chartbusters. The songs are very unlike those created by Pritam earlier.

Bollywood starlet Deepika Pandukone was willing to cut-off her luscious long locks for “Karthik Calling Karthik”, which is releasing at the end of this month.
Her new short hairstyle might not have worked on most people, but she has managed to pull it off with style.
Earlier the actress was not quite pleased to shed her lustrous long hair and was edgy about her new hairdo, wondering whether it would go down well with her image. However after a lot of cajoling and persuasion she agreed but not before putting on a wig to see how it would look.
One look at it and that’s when Deepika was finally convinced that it would suit her, and later agreed to chop-off her hair. It was hair stylist Adhuna Akhtar who had styled her hair for the movie.
The actress who’s an idol for generation X is now happy to have cut her long hair and is sprucing up her persona for more innings in Bollywood. And now everyone would agree that she’s looking cuter than usual in her sleek swingy bob-cut.

In ‘Karthik calling Karthik’, Deepika plays Sonali, who is smart, confident, independent, and focused woman who speaks her mind. Niharika Khan has styled Deepika to look like a simple and warm-hearted girl, who triumphs in the face of impossible situations.
When asked about the film, she said, “It is a romantic thriller. It is about a boy called Karthik and how he goes about his daily life doing a regular nine-to-five job. Suddenly, he receives a phone call from someone who also claims to be Karthik. That one phone call changes his life.”
Moreover in preparation for the romantic scenes they had to play, Deepika stated that Farhan and she felt very comfortable because even before they had to enact an intimate sequence they used to make it a point to hang out a lot together.
Deepika has four major projects lined up
The Bollywood actress has finished working on ‘Housefull’, a comedy directed by Sajid Khan, scheduled to release in April. Then she also has finished shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’, where she plays a Bengali girl Kolpona Dutta.
In ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’, Deepika is styled like a Bengali, but not the kind of glamorous Bengalis usually portrayed in films. For this particular look, she has worn real cotton khadi saris with three-fourth sleeve blouses.It’s a period-thriller where she is paired opposite Abhishek (Bachchan), and the movie is slated to hit theatres in August.
Deepika has already started shooting for Pradeep Sarkar’s next film, under the Yash Raj banner, which is a love story where she is paired opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh. The actress also has one more film in her hand called ‘Break Ke Baad’, with Imran (Khan), which is yet another love story.

WELL DONE ABBA SYNOPSIS:
Abba Ka Kuan tells the story of Armaan Ali, a driver working in Mumbai. He takes leave for a month to find a husband for his teenage daughter, who lives in a small locality close to Hyderabad. Armaan Ali returns to work only after 3 months. His young employer wants to sack him but is persuaded to listen to the reason why Armaan got so delayed.
