After the last year's biggest movie ‘Twenty: 20’ is arriving another multistarrer, ‘Yugapurushan’- a historical based on the life and teachings of the best known social reformer from Kerala, Sree Narayana guru. Director R. Sukumaran, quite famous for his initial works like ‘Paadamudra’ and ‘Raajashilpi’ is narrating the life and teachings of the saint, Sree Narayana Guru,(1856-1928) through the movie, which will have the support from the entire artists from the industry. The director, who is back to industry after 14 years, is planning to give more emphasis on Guru's thoughts andteachings through the films, than to create another biography. He has already completed eighty percent of the shoot, for the movie at various locations at Ottapalam, Kannur, Thaliparambu.
According to the director, the movie is meant to portray how the impact of Guru's vision changed the history of Kerala society. Maya Bazaar Malayalam Movie Reviews : If you are a Mammootty fan, you will surely enjoy Mammootty's latest venture Maya Bazaar by debutant director Thomas Sebastian. The film moves with some interesting twists and turns especially during the first half, but fails to reach anywhere and has nothing new or novel to offer. Maya Bazaar is the name of a street where spare parts of condemned vehicles are sold. Rameshan (Mammootty), son of typical Akri Damodharan (Rajan P. Dev, who occasionally steals money from his son and sets out on pilgrimages) is a highly virtuous man, a good Samaritan who provides lunch packets to the ailing patients in a nearby hospital. In fact, Rameshan is not a typical scrap dealer, who buys old vehicles, dismantles them and sells the parts. A lovable and fearless guy, he is an elegant, well-dressed young man sporting a funky hairstyle, silver earrings and wears stylish short shirts. He is adored by the charming Maya (Tamil actress Sheela now named Maya). But being a practical man, Rameshan does not pay any heed to her allure.
Rameshan often has to deal with a rival gang lead by Bhadran (Kalabhavan Mani), who deals with stolen vehicles and has an eye on Maya, her hand and her land. The entire first half has Rameshan and Bhadran taking on each other regularly, mainly over pretty Maya. Bhadran is desperate to get her, but she is completely smitten by Rameshan's charm. Several verbal and physical fights between Rameshan and Bhadran follow, after which the story takes an abrupt turn after the intermission and ends up nowhere. Mammootty, who has portrayed some of the best roles in Malayalam, maintains his masculine charm all through the movie. Heroine Maya has nothing much to do. Drona Malayalam Movie Reviews : After Paleri Maanickyam Mammootty is again seen in a double role i the movie Drona 2012. The movie was released in 80 centres throughout. There was a talk about the title earlier which made that crew to change the title to Drona 2010 from Drona. Shaji Kailas, famous for his action flicks, has attempted on a different theme but the movie has not reached the expectation. Drona 2012 is merely a story based on myth or superstition, if you believe in it. The story is about two wealthy families involved in fight for generations. One side always try to get good all the time but fails. The first half of thestory deals with Mammooty as Kunjunni, who deals with ancestral buildings. He happens to find a house that interests him. But the house was a haunted one. In spite of it Kunjunni tries for it but it results in his death. Then enters his elder brother Pattazhi Madhavan ( Mammootty), to take revenge for his brother's death. He is a very powerful man, who chants sanskrit all the time, having ong hair and mustache. The spirit of Savithri ( Dhanya) has some grudge toward's Pattazhi's family that points to the destruction. Climax deals with the war between the two. Kaniha, Navya Nair, Manoj K Jayan, Thilakan and others are seen in the cast. Kunjunni appears as a young and handsome, just the opposite to Pattazhi, who is always seen in a 'Kaavi'. The beginning part gives a lot of expectations to the viewer. Navya is seen as Mammootty's wife in the film. Overall it can be said as a disappointing flick. Images are very good. Shaji Kailas was not successful in maintaining his trend this time. Mammootty has acted his role well. Technicallythe film is good. The flop comes in the story which gives an idea of lots of superstitions.

Now he is up with the story of marriedcouples. And that too three couples. Happy Husbands is a complete entertaining movie and Saji has been successful in his venture. There are three couples in the film. Jayaram- Bhavana, Indrajith- Samvrutha Sunil an Jayasurya- Vandana ( new face) are the couples. Jayaram (Mukundan Menon) loves his wife Krishnendu (Bhavana) a lot. Krishnendu is a doubtful wife and keeps nagging him all the time.

Jayasurya (John Mathai) is the photographer of Kerala Today magazine. His wife Zarina (Vandana) doesnt like her husband lieing. But John is forced to lie all the time. The happyhusbands are turned into trouble with the entry of Diana (Rima Kallingal), a bar dancer. Mukundan gets attracted to Diana for sometime and after that he is trapped and how the three survives it all from wives is the comedy entertaining climax with suspense. Suraj and Salim Kumar have also contributed well to the comedy. The movies Charlie Chaplin (Tamil) and No Entry (Bollywood) had the same plot in the background. The movie can be rated as a good entertainer. There is a good and thrilling movements. All the six cast have done a great job. Jayaram, Indrajith, and Jayasurya have enacted good chemistry in comedy scenes. The movie has good story and all is nice in the movie. Music is an average one. One would not cry over the money spend.
