Plot Summary
Halloween II is a sequel to 2007 of Halloween. Michael Myers is still at large and no less dangerous than ever. After a failed reunion to reach his baby sister at their old home, Laurie Strode is immediately taken to a hospital to be treated by the wounds that had been afflicted by her brother a few hours ago.
However, Michael isn't too far off and will continue his murdering 'Halloween' rampage until he gets his sister all to himself.
Review
It's that time of year again, and Michael Myers has returned home to sleepy Haddonfield, Illinois to take care of some unfinished family business. Unleashing a trail of terror that only horror master Rob Zombie can, Myers will stop at nothing to bring closure to the secrets of his twisted past. But the town's got an unlikely new hero, if they can only stay alive long enough to stop the unstoppable.
Laurie Strode may have defeated her lumbering, murderous brother Michael Myers, but she has only begun the battle against her own personal demons. Picking up immediately after the 2007 Halloween remake left off, this violent tale of psychological horror focuses on the aftermath suffered by Laurie in the wake of Michael’s rampage through Haddonfield.
Three Good Reasons
* 1Rob Zombie is back as writer/director in the sequel, after breaking Labor Day weekend box office records with his first remake in 2007.
* 2Though satisfyingly gruesome, the movie won’t be a remake of original Halloween 2, instead it focuses more on the wreck of Laurie’s traumatized mind.
* 3Weird Al Yankovic will make a cameo appearance in the movie as his “White & Nerdy” self.
