Plot Summary
Pinnacle Pictures PVT Ltd. is producing a full fledged action movie based on the life of cops titled ‘Police – Police’. Producer Chandu is making this movie starring Sriram, Prudhvi Raj, Kamalini Mukherjee and Sanjana in the main cast. Manmohan is directing this movie which is now in post production stage.
Amidst his busy schedule, director Manmohan meeting the press said, “The plot is about the different views of two police officers. The system they work in is the same yet how they differ in undertaking different routes to reach their goal is the story line of ‘Police Police’. We have based the movie on current day scenario and how the juridical system of Police works in day-to-day life. A criticism based on the pros and cons of our department is the main theme. A whole lot of real life incidents have been taken into consideration to make this end-end action entertainer.”

Sriram and Prithvi Raj as cops with different perspectives, ‘Police Police’ is made in Tamil and Telugu directed by debutant Manmohan. It is produced by Chandu on Pinnacle Pictures. The Telugu version is through Censor, while the post-production is underway for Tamil version. Telugu Movie News
Sun Pictures have reportedly acquired the rights for Tamil version of the movie and requested to release both the versions simultaneously.
Hence, the Telugu version which was expected to hit screens on Ugadi day was halted, for release along with the Tamil version, said the director. It is though censor and obtained ‘A’ certification with out a single elimination. The first copy of the film is expected to be ready by 15th April. Kamilini Mukherjee comes in a glamorous and bubbly role as one of the heroines and Sanjana plays another heroine. Made with an inspiration from real life incidents, the story explores the pros and cons within the police department.

Director says, “We have completed the shooting of the film recently and presently post-production works are in progress. We are bringing out the film with a truly different subject and with a nice message. Uday is making his debut as hero through this movie, while Sanghavi is playing a police officer. We have ensured that the hero Uday would earn a mass image with this film and we have made the film with lots of mass and commercial elements for this purpose. We will complete all the formalities very soon and are making efforts to release the film on August 15.”
Prasanna Kumar, Ranganath, Rami Reddy, Jyothi, Kaveri and others are in the cast. Music is by Sasi, camera is by Dhanunjay, while story, dialogues, screenplay and direction are by RR Devarapalli.
