The Story :

Ramesh acts as a villager from Mandya and Komal plays the role of the elder son in the house. The confrontation between Ramesh and Komal is the highlight of this comedy caper.

Actor Ramesh Arvind may have his biggest fans among the NRIs, thanks to his sophisticated characters in films like America America in the overseas market. But that hasn’t deterred the actor from experimenting with a rustic look in his upcoming movie, Muru Guttu, Ondu Sullu, Ondu Nija. Ramesh Arvind sports an almighty mustache in the movie and speaks Mandya dialect throughout the length of the film. Reports suggest that Ramesh has gone through great pains to get the Mandya dialect right with the help of dialogue writer Malavalli Sai.
The film also stars Nancy Takkar, Komal and Rangayana Raghu along with Ramesh. The film was shot in 13 days and so we need not stress the fact that it’s directed by ‘Quickgun’ Dinesh Babu. Another interesting factor about Mooru Guttu, Ondu Sullu, Ondu Nija is that Ramesh has no love interest in the movie!

Meanwhile, checkout the Muru Guttu, Ondu Sullu, Ondu Nija gallery above.Bangalore, Sep 22 (IANS) After acting in films set in cities, Kannada actor Ramesh Arvind was keen to work in rural-based scripts and says he accepted ‘Crazy Kutumba’, a remake of a Marathi film, because it provided him the opportunity.
Directed by B. Ramamurthy, the film is being produced by Ravi Joshi. The original Marathi hit was based on popular Marathi drama ‘De Dakke’. Anant Nag and M.S. Umesh, two of the favourite artists of Arvind, play important roles inthe film.
We have made several changes in the Kannada version but the original is essentially a rural based story and would remain the same in my film too,’ Arvind told IANS.
‘For the past 20 two years, I have been acting more in urban movies. I thought I need some change and I need to work in rural based themes. Since ‘Crazy Kutumba’ is an out and out comedy, I thought it would be better for me to experiment,’ he added.
Murthy and Arvind had earlier worked together in the film ‘Hey Sarasu’, a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Chandralekha’ directed by Priyadharshan.
