Undertaker Returns in Summerslam | WWE Summerslam 2010 Triple H and Untertaker Returns | 2010 Triple H and Untertaker Returns
SummerSlam is the next PPV on the list for World Wrestling Entertainment and it’s certainly going to be an interesting one. We’ve got Cena’s Army vs. The Nexus in an elimination tag match, Randy Orton challenging Sheamus for the WWE Championship, Kane defending his World Title for the first time since winning it and plenty of matches to be named.
One thing to keep an eye on is the return of the Phenom, The Undertaker.
If you take a look at the SummerSlam commercials you’ll notice that they’re showing that Taker will indeed be at that show. So with that thrown out there the discussion begins on as to what Taker will do at the biggest event of the summer.
First let’s put the obvious out there, it’ll most likely have something to do with the World Championship scene. Also, with Undertaker back, I think he will obviously reveal who the man was that attacked him. Which brings me to this…
I say that Kane retains the World Heavyweight Championship and immediately after Undertaker’s gong hits. A coffin comes down the ramp hitting the ring, with the Undertaker coming out of it. He climbs out and gets in the ring with the World Champion.
Undertaker picks up a mic and reveals that the man who attacked him was none other than his own brother, Kane. This would most obviously turn Kane into a heel setting up a feud between him and The Undertaker.
Undertaker would then slowly explain how he was attacked by Kane and at the end of things, he would attack Kane. After delivering a big boot to Kane, Kane would roll out of the ring with the World Title and walk away with Undertaker showing his signature R.I.P. sign.
Anyone with a good knowledge of wrestling history will remember that clashes between The Undertaker and Kane have been nothing less than fantastic. They have put on some true classics. One of recent memory would be the Wrestlemania 20 encounter.
The feud could potentially have an excellent storyline as to why Kane attacked The Undertaker. One I would certainly love to hear.
Giving Kane a nice heel run would be intriguing too. For the sake of having a good feud, you’ve got to give Kane a few decisions over the Undertaker.
In my mind the final encounter between the two should be a Hell In A Cell match. Looking at both of these men, nothing would be more fitting than that match for the final encounter. And even though Kane does deserve to keep his title for a lengthy run, Undertaker would probably get the final decision in this feud.
This feud should once again prove why SmackDown is the show for great wrestling action. I expect nothing, but the best from these two if this feud were to happen.
Let’s be honest for a second, what other option for Undertaker’s attacker would prove this exciting?
Rey Mysterio? No.
Jack Swagger? No.
Anyone else really? No.
So with that being said, at SummerSlam look for the wheels to be set in motion for Undertaker vs. Kane and I couldn’t be any happier.
